We are seeking a skilled Java Fullstack Developer (React) for a full-time position with Citi in an onsite role based in Mississauga, Toronto, ON, Canada, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using React frontend and Java/Spring Boot backend technologies.

Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.
Build and manage backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) for data storage and retrieval.
Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
Optimize application performance and scalability (frontend + backend).
Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

Technical Areas Within Scope Of This Position

Fullstack web development (React frontend + Java/Spring Boot backend).
RESTful API development and integration.
SQL databases (MySQL/Oracle) and NoSQL data storage.
Microservices architecture and third-party service connectivity.

Must Have (Required Skills)

Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot.
Hands-on experience in React.js.
Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Experience in REST API development and integration.
Good knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL / Oracle).
Understanding of Microservices architecture.
Experience with Git or other version control tools.

Good To Have Skills

Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.

Experience And Skill Set Requirements

Proven fullstack development experience with strong Java/Spring Boot backend expertise, React frontend proficiency, REST API development, microservices architecture, and database management (SQL/NoSQL) in enterprise environments.

Engagement Requirements

Onsite work required in Mississauga, Toronto, ON, Canada.
Full-time position with Citi.
