Java Application Developer

Role summary

Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable Java-based applications and backend services. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions, APIs, and integrations across the software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient Java applications, backend services, and REST APIs.
• Write clean, reusable, testable code and participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with front-end, QA, product, and DevOps teams to deliver features end to end.
• Develop unit/integration tests and support defect resolution throughout the SDLC.
• Integrate Java applications with databases, external services, and third-party APIs.
• Maintain documentation and support deployments, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of applications.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, OOP concepts, and backend development.
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of databases, Git/version control, and software testing practices.
• Ability to work in Agile teams, communicate clearly, and solve problems independently.
