Geotechnical Engineer

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Geotechnical Engineer located in Doha, Qatar. The Geotechnical Engineer will conduct site investigations, analyze geotechnical data, and design foundations and other subsurface structures. Responsibilities will include evaluating soil properties, preparing technical reports, collaborating with engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. The candidate will also liaise with clients and contractors to provide expert guidance on construction projects.

• Proficiency in Site Investigation and analysis techniques
• Strong expertise in Soil Mechanics and understanding of soil behavior
• Knowledge and application of Geotechnical Engineering principles and practices
• Familiarity with Engineering Geology and geological assessments
• Experience in Foundation Design and analysis for a variety of structures
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Professional certification or license in engineering (e.g., PE, CEng) is a plus
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams effectively
• Proficiency with relevant software tools like AutoCAD, Plaxis, or GeoStudio is beneficial
