About the role

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer 3 (Backend) to join our technology team.

In this role, you’ll build scalable backend systems and AI-powered services that drive intelligent, personalized product experiences. You’ll work on high-impact problems involving distributed systems, large-scale data, and modern AI/LLM capabilities deployed in production environments.

What You Will Do

• Design and build scalable backend systems powering intelligent, personalized product features
• Develop AI/LLM-driven capabilities that derive insights from behavioral and transaction data
• Build and deploy AI-powered services, assistants, or agentic workflows in production
• Develop orchestration layers for AI models, tools, and decision-making systems
• Work on data enrichment, classification, retrieval, and context-aware systems
• Own performance, latency, reliability, and cost efficiency of AI-integrated systems
• Collaborate with product, data, and design teams to translate evolving ideas into shipped experiences
• Contribute to architectural decisions around AI-native backend infrastructure
• Continuously improve system robustness, observability, and accuracy

What You Will Need

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience building scalable, distributed systems
• Strong system design fundamentals and API design expertise
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Java / Kotlin / Go / Python / Node.js)
• Experience working with data-intensive applications
• Hands-on experience integrating ML / LLM / GenAI capabilities into applications
• Experience building or deploying AI-powered features, assistants, or agent-based systems
• Familiarity with concepts like embeddings, RAG, vector databases, or model orchestration
• Experience deploying and operating AI/LLM-powered systems in production
• Understanding of latency, reliability, and cost trade-offs
• Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and product mindset
