Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record as a Mobile Developer or be prepared to step into this role with the right skills and enthusiasm. Essential qualifications include a strong understanding of the iOS platform, proficiency in Swift, and familiarity with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines (HIG). Experience in releasing apps to the App Store, coupled with a focus on quality-driven development practices such as version control, unit testing, UI testing, and CI/CD pipelines, is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates should have a solid understanding of RESTful APIs, architectural patterns like VIPER and MVVM, and experience in designing scalable and efficient mobile applications. A proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative, engaging digital mobile experiences that support corporate sales targets, KPIs, and other business requirements, from initial concept through to final deployment.
  • Code compelling user interfaces utilizing native iOS technologies to enhance customer experience and usability.
  • Build, test, and deploy mobile applications, ensuring they meet all business and technical specifications while accommodating ongoing changes and updates.
  • Provide expert advice on native iOS development best practices, contributing to user-led design workshops and end-to-end user journeys.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, specify, and document development requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Help define the software architecture for new features and future app development, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Create effective information architecture models that define the relationship between app navigation, device functionalities, and integrated services, aligning with customer journeys to optimize user engagement.
