Tech / Fullstack Engineer

At Eijra, we are building a fundamentally better way to interact with insurance. We are now looking for a fullstack engineer who wants to be involved from the earliest stage and contribute to building the product from the ground up.

You will work closely with the CTO to design and build core parts of the product. This includes developing features end-to-end, contributing to system architecture, and making technical decisions that shape the foundation of the platform. You will be involved in everything from rapid prototyping to production-ready systems.

You are comfortable working across the full stack and have experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript. Our frontend is built in React with Tailwind CSS, and we use Supabase for database, authentication, row-level security, and edge functions written in Deno/TypeScript. Familiarity with this stack, or the ability to quickly get up to speed, is important.

You should have experience building consumer-facing products, ideally mobile-first applications such as PWAs or React Native apps. An understanding of performance, scalability, and clean architecture is expected, especially in early-stage environments where decisions have long-term impact.

Experience working with sensitive personal data is highly relevant, including an understanding of security practices and how to design systems with privacy in mind. Knowledge of GDPR and practical data protection is a strong advantage.

It is a plus if you have worked with Next.js, particularly in the context of migrating from environments like Vite or similar setups, as well as an understanding of SEO and web performance optimization.

Familiarity with fintech or regulated environments is beneficial. Experience or understanding of Swedish regulatory frameworks, including considerations related to Finansinspektionen, is considered a strong plus.

You will have a direct impact on the product and technical direction of the company. The role offers close collaboration with the founding team and full visibility into how decisions are made.
