Regional Product Launch & Portfolio Strategy Manager (Pharma MNC)

Our client, a growing international pharmaceutical organisation, is seeking a Regional Product Launch & Portfolio Strategy Manager to drive portfolio performance and lead product commercialisation across global markets.

This role sits at the intersection of product management, marketing, and project execution, overseeing in-licensed assets from evaluation through to launch. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of new products while shaping portfolio strategy in emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio & Commercial Strategy

• Manage and optimise product portfolio aligned to business growth and market opportunities
• Support prioritisation decisions based on commercial value, risk, and resource allocation
• Provide insights on market dynamics, competition, and regulatory pathways

Product Launch & Project Management

• Lead end-to-end product launch planning and execution for new assets
• Define timelines, milestones, and go-to-market readiness across regions
• Identify risks and drive mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner with regulatory, medical, supply chain, and commercial teams to align execution
• Drive stakeholder communication and governance for timely decision-making
• Ensure alignment between global strategy and local market needs

Business Development & Alliances

• Support evaluation of new licensing opportunities and partnerships
• Contribute to long-term portfolio planning and expansion strategy

Key Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience in pharmaceuticals, ideally in product management, marketing, or portfolio/project roles
• Proven experience in product launches or commercialisation within pharma/healthcare
• Strong understanding of regulatory and market dynamics across multiple regions
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders in a matrix environment
