Job Purpose
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Commercial Officer with at least 3 years of experience in an administrational / commercial role to manage and support the commercial and contractual activities on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures to ensure financial control.
- Initiating and managing the verification and certification of invoices.
- Review contract terms and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with site, procurement, and finance teams on commercial matters.
- Track financial project progress and prepare regular commercial and financial reports.
- Lead the Commercial team on site, whilst reporting to the Commercial Manager.
- Identify potential risks and assist in implementing cost-saving measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar commercial, administrational or quantity surveying role.
- Basic knowledge of contracts, claims, and commercial procedures.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and financial management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Good understanding of contractual and commercial practices.
- Negotiation and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Strong teamwork and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a site environment.
