Business Analyst

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Business Analyst for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client is a consulting and custom software development firm focused on regulated sectors. Typically, their clients seek high-end software development services, with the firm providing top-tier warranties. Consequently, the client has established a solid reputation in the industry for creating solutions that meet specifications with very few software defects. They are recognized as the leading software developer in Australia.

The Business Analyst partners with clients and internal teams to shape and deliver high-quality digital solutions. By deeply understanding business challenges and objectives, the role identifies opportunities for improvement, defines requirements, and ensures that proposed solutions deliver measurable value. The Business Analyst acts as a trusted advisor, facilitating communication, managing ambiguity, and supporting delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis.
• A foundational understanding of AI terminology and applying these concepts to enhance software development processes.
• Good knowledge of SDLC.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with pre-built AI tools and chatbots to execute tasks, including the cleaning and structuring of data for model accuracy.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and configuration for existing tools and methods within defined project contexts.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for workflows, and design technical environments for software lifecycle practices.
• Refine AI-generated outputs using deliberate, structured prompt engineering techniques.
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and compliance standards to ensure the responsible use of automated technologies.
• Monitor the external landscape for emerging technologies and contribute to long-term roadmapping and insight sharing.
• Execute specific elements of client engagements, ensuring proposed solutions are understood and effectively applied.
• Collaborate with clients to collect data, perform analysis, and solve problems within a defined scope of responsibility.
• Develop and maintain systems that capture business knowledge and encourage others to adopt effective knowledge-sharing habits.
• Analyze tender documents to draft initial proposal responses that align with organisational capabilities and stakeholder needs.
• Communicate with internal teams to gather information and clarify requirements for complex proposals or projects.
• Conduct basic risk management activities and maintain records of threats, vulnerabilities, and necessary protections.
• Deploy automation and select life cycle practices for software components to achieve secure, well-engineered outcomes.
• Ensure all proposal responses and project deliverables meet mandatory compliance standards and organisational requirements.
