Become part of Lloyds Bank Nederland
At Lloyds Bank, colleagues and customers come first. We are an international organisation where ownership, collaboration and quality are key.
We are looking for a Data Steward to strengthen our Lending Domain. In this role, you ensure that lending data is accurate, controlled, traceable and audit‑ready, enabling the business, Risk and Reporting teams to rely on trusted data.
If you enjoy hands‑on execution, working within a structured governance framework and being close to the business, this role is for you.
About the Role
As a Data Steward, you are responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of data management activities within the Lending Domain. Acting as the first line of defence, you ensure that domain‑owned data is complete, consistent and properly documented across systems.
Your work enables downstream teams such as Credit Risk and Modelling to work with reliable inputs. While others perform analytics, you ensure the underlying data can be trusted and evidenced.
In short: this role is how the Lending Domain demonstrates that its data is correct and under control.
The Team
As a Data Steward, you will be part of the recently established Homes Data Team. Together with the Data Governance Manager, the team is responsible for safeguarding data quality, consistency, and accuracy within the lending domain. In addition to data governance and management, the team delivers data insights that support day-to-day business operations as well as strategic decision-making. A third core responsibility of the team is Data Change Management, ensuring that changes impacting the data landscape within the lending domain are properly coordinated and implemented.
A Day in the Life of a Data Steward

You log the issue in DQIM, assign risk level and align remediation actions with business and data stakeholders.
11:30 – Metadata & lineage maintenance
You update business definitions, critical data elements and lineage documentation in Collibra.
12:30 – Lunch break
