We are looking for our next Java Developer (Backend)

What we expect from you:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Java Backend development;
• Strong proficiency in Java and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate;
• Solid experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architectures;
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle);
• Experience in writing complex SQL queries and performance optimization;
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra) is a plus;
• Understanding of API design and tools like Swagger or Postman;
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.);
• Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization in backend applications;
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure);
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito;
• Fluent in English (mandatory).

📍 Location: Hybrid model – 2 days per week on-site in Lisbon
