Clients engage RGP for expertise in delivering large and complex projects to strengthen their business. As Material Master Data Consultant, you will work on a diverse range of projects. Through relevant experience, you will have been exposed to multiple and ideally complex (global) projects and businesses and be able to adapt these to our clients' unique environment.
KEY DELIVERABLES
- Create, update, and maintain material master records in ERP systems
- Process new material setup and change requests to support daily operations
- Ensure adherence to global data governance standards and business rules
- Support data quality, validation, and cleansing activities
- Analyze operational data to identify issues and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Quality) to resolve data issues
- Coordinate material setup activities including pricing, costing, and approvals
- Maintain audit documentation for data changes and perform control checks
- Act as a key contact for material-related business disruptions
- Support local and regional supply chain data requirements and system setups
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Some years of experience in SAP Material Master (MM) or similar ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of material master transactions (e.g., MM01, MM02, MM17, MEK1)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience working in cross-functional, international environments
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
