Senior Industry Leader

We are looking for a seasoned Industry Leader for Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, and Financial Institutions) to join our rapidly growing team. You will be based in Istanbul with several travels possible, directly reporting to the Head of Target Industries. You will play a critical role in shaping industry strategy, driving business growth, and leading high-impact client engagements at the executive level.

Your ability to build and sustain C-level relationships, while driving complex transformation programs and engaging cross-functional teams, will be a key differentiator. You will own the industry pipeline, ensure commercial success, and position KoçDigital as a trusted advisor in the financial services ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Industry Leadership & Strategic PositioningAct as the primary leader for KoçDigital’s Financial Services practice, shaping the go-to-market strategy across banking, insurance, and financial institutions. Define and lead the industry agenda with a strong focus on AI-driven transformation, data-centric operating models, and regulatory-compliant digital architectures.

C-Level Client Engagement & Relationship Management

Build and sustain strong relationships with CxOs (CEO, CIO, CTO, CDO, CRO, CMO) across financial institutions. Act as a trusted advisor, leading strategic discussions on AI adoption, data transformation, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

AI & Advanced Analytics Leadership in Financial Services

Drive the design and positioning of AI and advanced analytics use cases, including but not limited to:

• Credit scoring and risk modeling
• Fraud detection and AML (Anti-Money Laundering)
• Customer analytics and personalization
• Next-best-action and CRM optimization
• Churn prediction and retention strategies
• Intelligent automation and decision systems
• Ensure solutions are scalable, explainable, and aligned with regulatory expectations.

Regulation, Compliance & Risk Awareness

Demonstrate deep understanding of financial regulations and supervisory expectations (e.g., banking regulations, data privacy, model risk governance). Ensure all solutions comply with local and international regulatory frameworks, including data residency, auditability, and model transparency requirements.

Business Development & Sales Leadership

Lead end-to-end sales cycles for complex transformation programs, from opportunity identification to deal closure. Shape value propositions, oversee proposal development, and drive large-scale deal negotiations.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline across Data & AI, Advanced Analytics, and Digital Transformation initiativeswithin financial services.

Data Strategy, Governance & Transformation

Lead conversations and engagements around:

• Enterprise data strategy
• Data governance and quality frameworks
• Regulatory reporting and compliance
• Master data management
• Data platform modernization
• Position KoçDigital as a leader in data-driven transformation in financial services.

Program Oversight & Delivery Governance

Ensure successful execution of large-scale programs by overseeing delivery governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment. Guide teams from strategy through execution, ensuring measurable business outcomes.

Partner & Ecosystem Management

Develop and manage strategic partnerships across technology providers, cloud platforms, and financial services ecosystems, enabling joint go-to-market initiatives and scalable solutions.

Team Leadership & Capability Building

Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, strengthening capabilities in financial services analytics, AI, risk, and data governance. Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.

P&L Ownership

Own and manage the P&L for the financial services vertical, ensuring sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.

General Qualifications:

• Minimum 12–15+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, or technology roles, with a strong focus on banking and/or insurance sectors
• Proven track record in C-level stakeholder management and executive engagement
• Strong network within the financial services ecosystem in Türkiye and/or international markets
• Deep knowledge of AI and analytics use cases in financial services (risk, fraud, customer, compliance, etc.)
• Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance, and risk management practices
• Experience in data management, data governance, and regulatory reporting environments
• Proven success in leading large-scale digital transformation and AI programs
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in business development, deal shaping, and sales leadership
• Experience working with modern data and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
