Position Summary

Provides administrative support focused on onboarding and HR data management, ensuring accurate HRIS records and delivering a smooth, positive employee experience.

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Schedule: 40 hours Monday to Friday

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities, including documentation, system setup, and communications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information in the HRIS through timely data entry and updates
  • Prepare, process, and file employee documents while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity
  • Serve as a first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing timely and helpful responses
  • Support new hires to ensure a welcoming and consistent onboarding experience
  • Conduct regular audits of HRIS data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with reporting and tracking onboarding and HR data metrics
  • Support day-to-day HR administrative tasks to maintain an organized and compliant environment
  • Oversee and coordinate the employee uniform program

What You’ll Bring

  • 1 year of experience in HR or a related administrative role.
  • Post secondary diploma in Human Resources.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and employee relations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with data entry and record-keeping
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a customer-service mindset
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on creating a positive employee experience
  • Transportation industry experience is an asset.
