Our challenge
The Client Partner will serve as a senior, trusted advisor to key Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) clients, responsible for driving account growth, deepening client relationships, and delivering strategic business outcomes. This role combines account leadership, revenue ownership, and executive-level client engagement, with a strong focus on technology-led transformation and consulting services.
The ideal candidate brings deep BFSI domain expertise, strong consulting and IT services experience, and a proven ability to grow large, complex client accounts in the Canadian market.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $180k – CAD $200k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship & Account Leadership
- Act as the primary executive sponsor and relationship owner for assigned BFSI client accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with C-level and senior client stakeholders.
- Understand clients’ business strategies, challenges, and priorities to position relevant consulting and technology solutions.
Revenue Growth & Account Expansion
- Own P&L and revenue targets for assigned accounts, driving sustainable growth year over year.
- Identify and develop new opportunities across digital transformation, cloud, data, AI, modernization, and managed services.
- Expand wallet share through cross-sell and upsell of services and solutions.
Consulting & Delivery Oversight
- Partner closely with delivery, solution, and industry teams to ensure successful execution and high client satisfaction.
- Provide oversight on major programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with client expectations and contractual commitments.
- Proactively manage risks, escalations, and commercial governance.
Go-to-Market & Industry Collaboration
- Collaborate with industry leaders, solution teams, and partners to shape joint offerings and account strategies.
- Support proposals, deal shaping, and contract negotiations for large and complex engagements.
- Represent the firm at client forums, industry events, and thought leadership initiatives.
Requirements:
- 12–20 years of experience in IT services, consulting, or digital transformation roles.
- Strong background in BFSI, with experience working with Canadian banks, insurers, or capital markets clients.
- Proven track record of managing and growing large enterprise client accounts.
- Experience selling and delivering consulting-led technology services.
- Strong commercial acumen, including deal structuring and contract management.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Client-centric leader with strong executive presence and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
- Strong collaborator who can work effectively across sales, delivery, and global teams.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed, global organization.
