Jr Java Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to support digital and platform development initiatives at Hartford. The role involves building scalable, secure applications aligned with insurance business needs and enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver solutions
• Develop clean, efficient, and scalable code
• Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with Python development and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server or other relational databases
• Understanding of application architecture and best practices

Preferred:

• Experience in Insurance/Financial Services domain
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
