Contract to hire- this can be remote for the duration of contract (6 months-1yr) but this person MUST BE OPEN TO RELO TO INDIANAPOLIS upon conversion.

They must be willing to complete a live recorded assessment upon submission! This assessment asks technical questions and has a coding section that can be completed in either Python or Go.

Experience Level

  • 5–7 yrs
  • 8–9+ yrs strongly preferred
  • Needs to be technically advanced, not mid-level

Top Technical Requirements

  • Kubernetes EXPERT (absolute #1 requirement)
    • Most workload runs in K8s
    • Experience with large clusters
  • Strong CI/CD (pipeline build + management)
  • Must be able to code
    • Preferred: Python (near must), Golang, Node.js
    • Kotlin / TypeScript also seen
    • Coding used to solve support tickets faster
  • Strong debugging skills
    • Logs, root cause analysis, fixing issues directly
  • Cloud experience required
    • AWS primary today, expanding to GCP + Azure
    • Multi-cloud or heavy hybrid/on-prem experience required
  • Experience supporting globally scaled applications
    • Open-source stacks
    • High-complexity environments
Environment

  • App-based deployments into platforms
  • CI-heavy pipelines
  • Observability platform in use
  • Mix of on-prem + cloud (currently more on-prem K8s)

Support Focus

  • Escalation ticket resolution
  • Debugging & log audits
  • Fixing production issues fast
  • Site reliability & uptime
  • Improving stability via automation/code
