Operations Manager

Location: Qatar

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee elevator maintenance, operations, and project execution, with a strong background in Hitachi elevator systems.

The ideal candidate will bring a balance of technical expertise, operational leadership, and commercial understanding across maintenance, installation, and service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of elevator maintenance and service teams
• Oversee preventive & corrective maintenance to ensure uptime, safety, and compliance
• Manage installation projects, ensuring timely and quality execution
• Drive service contracts, client satisfaction, and retention
• Support sales activities, including AMC contracts, upgrades, and modernization projects
• Monitor KPIs, cost control, and operational efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations
• Coordinate with OEMs (especially Hitachi systems) for technical support and spare parts

Requirements

• 20+ years of total experience in elevator/escalator industry
• Minimum 10 years in operations management role
• Strong experience in:
• Elevator maintenance & troubleshooting
• Installation & commissioning
• Service operations & contracts
• Hands-on experience with Hitachi elevators (mandatory/preferred)
• Proven leadership in managing large technical teams
• Strong client handling and commercial acumen
