Workday Absence Functional Expert

At Randstad Digital, we are looking for a Workday Absence Functional Expert - Advanced English to join a leading global company specializing in Audit, Consulting, and Technology solutions.

Employment Type: Permanent.

Work Model: Full-time, 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize Workday Absence module configuration, including tenant setup and Business Process (BP) definitions.
• Configure complex leave of absence plans, time off plans, eligibility rules, accruals, absence calendars, and work schedules.
• Manage mass data operations using EIBs and Mass Operations Management (MOM) tasks, including data purging and configuration migration between tenants.
• Build and maintain calculated fields to support absence logic and reporting.
• Resolve complex functional issues, recommending solutions while assessing dependencies on other Workday modules and interfaces.
• Manage stakeholders across a large multinational organization, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across different time zones and cultures.
• Provide high-quality support via ticketing systems, adhering to SLAs and core ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).

Mandatory Skills:

• +4 years of experience specifically in Workday Absence Management configuration.
• Workday PRO or Partner Certification in Absence Management.
• Advanced knowledge of Workday HCM and at least one other module (Benefits, Compensation, Reporting, Security, or Payroll).
• Expertise in EIBs, Calc Fields, and Tenant Migration tools.
• Solid understanding of HR processes, data protection standards, and information security.
• Experience working within a support framework (ITIL) and meeting KPIs/SLAs.
• Advanced/Fluent English (indispensable for global collaboration).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a 100% remote, multicultural team.
