Our client, within the banking sector, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Infrastructure Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Brussels, Belgium.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful deployment and stability of critical technical environments while working in an Agile structure alongside a high-performing team.

Role Responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be central to providing technical solutions and support for specific applications deployed within the team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting developers with project delivery.
• Managing API-related activities (exposition, consumption, testing, monitoring).
• Overseeing file transfer processes (configuration, testing, monitoring).
• Handling IT infrastructure tasks, including cloud migration initiatives.
• Releasing software across various environments.
• Performing run activities and managing SSO/MFA activation on assets.

Key Skills and Expertise:

• Strong experience with Linux, Windows servers, and relevant scripting tools like PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Hands-on knowledge of tools: Ansible, Git, helm chart, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Nexus, and hvault.
• Experience with network concepts (VPN, NAT), file transfer systems (e.g., Axway), and API gateways (APIGEE, Axway).
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies for collaborative delivery.
• Mandatory to have experience with Cloud services and related technologies.

Candidate Profile:

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic system engineer with a passion for Linux, Windows, and cloud technologies, as well as the ability to learn quickly. Candidates should have at least 6 years of relevant experience.
