PayXpert
France · Full-time · Mid-Senior

PayXpert is a pioneer in omnichannel payments and a subsidiary of the Société Générale group. We serve a diverse array of local and international brands both online and in-store, spanning various sectors. At the heart of our vision is the creation of a payment ecosystem that fosters an inclusive commerce experience for all.

We have developed services that focus on revenue optimisation, performance enhancement, fraud prevention, and seamless payment orchestration. Our expertise extends to cross-border payments and alternative payment methods such as Alipay+ and WeChat Pay. Furthermore, our solutions are designed with accessibility in mind, offering features that cater to the visually impaired, ensuring everyone can engage in the modern commerce landscape.

As Product Manager – eCommerce, you are responsible for defining, building and continuously improving PayXpert’s eCommerce acquiring and payment processing products.

You will own the full product lifecycle — from discovery to design, delivery, go to market and optimisation — ensuring best‑in‑class performance across processing, risk and fraud, card scheme compliance, routing and alternative payment method integrations.

Operating at the intersection of business, technology and user experience, you will lead cross‑functional alignment, drive structured execution and ensure all initiatives are delivered with high quality, scalability and regulatory compliance.

You will also leverage data‑driven insights, performance analytics and merchant feedback to continuously optimise conversion, approval rates and product performance, contributing to the long‑term evolution of PayXpert’s eCommerce offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, vision and roadmap for the eCommerce product, prioritising initiatives across authorisations, routing, risk, fraud and user experience.
  • Conduct discovery and market analysis, using performance metrics (approval, conversion, fraud KPIs) to guide product decisions.
  • Act as a cross‑functional leader, aligning Engineering, Data, Risk/Fraud, Compliance, Operations, Customer Success and Commercial teams.
  • Drive Agile execution, owning backlog prioritisation, defining clear requirements and ensuring high‑quality delivery with Engineering and QA.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, coordinating go‑to‑market and continuously improving performance through data insights, merchant feedback and regulatory compliance.

Position Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the payments industry, ideally in eCommerce acquiring.
  • Excellent knowledge of CB (including CB2A protocols), Visa and Mastercard rules, including 3DS, risk and authentication flows.
  • Proven experience working as a Product Manager within agile teams.
  • Solid experience working with cross‑functional teams to deliver payment products at scale.
  • Excellent English and French communication skills, Spanish is a plus.
