Frontend developer | Relocation platform

Our partner is an international, product-driven organization active in the relocation and moving industry. From the Dordrecht area, they build and maintain a digital platform that connects consumers worldwide with reliable service providers.

The organization operates in dozens of countries and manages a large partner network. With multiple platforms, an in-house internal system, and an extensive ecosystem of websites, they receive hundreds of thousands of consumer requests annually.

Role Description

As a Front-End Developer, you are responsible for developing, structuring, and optimizing the entire front-end environment. You work closely with back-end developers, a product manager, and design to continuously improve user experience, performance, and code quality.

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining custom WordPress environments (no page builders)
• Translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect components
• Optimizing performance, accessibility, and responsiveness
• Contributing to UI/UX improvements and design systems
• Sparring with fellow developers on architecture and code quality
• Identifying and resolving technical debt
• Working on smaller JavaScript/Angular components within forms and portals
• Ensuring consistent branding and functionality across multiple platforms

You will join a small, tight-knit development team where collaboration and communication are valued over hierarchy.

Requirements

• Approximately 4+ years of experience in front-end development
• Proven experience with custom WordPress themes and templates
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with Tailwind or similar CSS frameworks
• Affinity with UI/UX and strong attention to detail
• Experience implementing designs from Figma
• Comfortable collaborating with back-end developers
• Proactive mindset and strong communication skills
• Good command of English

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of PHP
• Experience with Laravel, Livewire, or Angular
• Experience with design systems or component libraries

What’s Offered

• Salary indication of €3,500 – €4,500 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on experience
