Data Scientist

This is a hybrid challenge with 2 office days in Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra or Braga.

🛠 The Challenge:

• Take full ownership of the analytical lifecycle, ensuring the quality, reliability, and successful deployment of production-level machine learning models.
• Drive deep Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and sophisticated feature engineering to extract maximum value from complex datasets.
• Collaborate seamlessly across multiple Data teams, applying a structured, value-oriented approach to solve problems and adapt to new requirements.
• Bridge the gap between data and business by translating complex technical insights into clear, actionable strategies for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leverage MLOps best practices to manage the model lifecycle, from experimentation and registry to versioning and final deployment.

🔎What you bring to the table:

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science;
• English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Strong, proven coding skills in Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn) with basic knowledge of PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Advanced SQL capabilities for comprehensive data analysis and querying.
• A solid foundation in statistics and probability, paired with deep knowledge of supervised and unsupervised ML models, tuning, and validation strategies.
