Responsibilities

Facilitate agile ceremonies, through a clear understanding of the aim of each ceremony, taking corrective measures as required to ensure they are effective.

Help the agile team to continuously improve the effectiveness of their incremental delivery by monitoring agile team metrics including velocity, Objectives & Key Results (OKRs)

Identify inefficiencies in agile team operation and remove impediments to the agile team's progress.

Advise, facilitate, mentor and coach agile team members and stakeholders.

Understand the context of teams supported including strategic targets, delivery targets, structure, agile framework(s), constraints, team-dynamics, mindsets, human nature and technical considerations.

Collaborate with the Product Owner and agile team to ensure a healthy prioritized product backlog.

Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to continuously improve the agile process.

Skills

Must have

Proven experience as a Scrum Master supporting software engineering teams.

Background in software development engineering.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices.

Practical experience working with engineering teams in Agile or scaled Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, or similar).

Familiarity with software development practices, testing, code reviews.

Ability to understand technical discussions and effectively bridge communication between engineering teams and business stakeholders.

Experience facilitating collaboration between development, QA, DevOps, and product teams.

Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to identify delivery bottlenecks and drive improvements.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to track and improve Agile metrics.

Experience working in a global, multicultural environment.

Nice to have

Experience in financial sector.

Certifications in any of the following is a plus: PSM, SAFe, PMI, ICP.
