The Role

We are looking for a BI and Data Solutions Analyst to support the development, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise data and analytics solutions. This role is well suited for someone with hands on experience using Power BI and a foundational understanding of MS Fabric , data platforms and analytics concepts, who is looking to grow their career in modern cloud-based data environments.

You will work under the guidance of senior data architects and engineers, supporting data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives, with exposure to Microsoft Fabric and enterprise data platforms. The role focuses on learning, collaboration, and practical delivery rather than architectural ownership.

Responsibilities

Data & Analytics Support

• You will support the development and maintenance of Power BI reports, dashboards, and datasets.
• You will assist with data preparation, validation, and transformation activities in MS Fabric for reporting and analytics use cases.
• You will help ensure that data used in reports is accurate, consistent, and clearly understood by business users.
  
  

Data Platform & Integration Support

• You will support data ingestion and transformation processes within Microsoft Fabric and related tools.
• You will assist senior team members with configuring and monitoring data pipelines and scheduled data refreshes.
• You will help document data flows, datasets, and reporting logic to support transparency and reuse.
  
  

Data Modelling & Quality

• You will assist in creating and maintaining basic data models to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• You will support data quality checks and help identify data issues or inconsistencies.
• You will work with data governance or platform teams to follow agreed data standards and practices.
  
  

Collaboration & Learning

• You will work closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• You will participate in solution discussions, workshops, and team reviews to build technical and business knowledge.
• You will communicate findings and insights clearly using dashboards, visualizations, and basic documentation.
  
  

Skills

Technical Skills

• You should have hands-on experience using Power BI to create reports, dashboards, and data models.
• You should have a basic understanding of data concepts such as tables, relationships, measures, and KPIs.
• You should have working knowledge of SQL for querying, validating, and exploring data.
• You should have familiarity with cloud data platforms or analytics tools, with exposure to Microsoft Fabric or Azure considered a plus.
• You should have a basic understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and how data moves from source systems to reporting layers.
  
  

Interpersonal & Professional Skills

• You should have clear communication skills with the ability to explain data insights in a simple and structured way.
• You should have a strong willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and data concepts.
• You should have the ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from senior colleagues.

Nice to Have

• You should have exposure to Oracle databases or enterprise data sources.
• You should have familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and data validation activities.
• You should have experience working in agile or project-based delivery environments.
• You should have experience working in python/ pyspark in MS fabric
• You should have completed relevant certifications or training in Power BI, data analytics, or Azure fundamentals.
