Java Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for highly skilled "Java Software Engineers" who are passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications. You will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. Our clients range from innovative startups to Fortune 500 enterprises in different sectors.

What You Will Do:

• Architect & Develop: Design and build high-availability, low-latency applications using Java/J2EE.
• Microservices: Create and maintain robust microservices architectures using Spring Boot.
• API Integration: Design and implement RESTful APIs to connect with various third-party services and internal databases.
• Cloud Deployment: Work within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure seamless scalability.
• Code Quality: Write clean, testable, and efficient code while conducting thorough peer code reviews.
• Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams (Product, UX/UI, DevOps) to deliver high-quality digital products.

Who You Are (Required Qualifications):

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Mastery: 4+ years of professional experience in Java development (Java 11/17+ preferred).
• Frameworks: Extensive experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data).
• Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• DevOps Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Testing: Strong experience with JUnit, Mockito, or integration testing frameworks.
• Language: Fluent written and spoken Swedish and English.

Preferred Skills (The "Plus" List)

• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ for event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of Front-end technologies (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Experience with TDD (Test Driven Development) or DDD (Domain Driven Design).
