Investment Associate – Engaged Ownership

With presence in Switzerland, the UK, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and the US, Lombard Odier Investment Managers has an international footprint.

As an Investment Associate, based in Amsterdam, you will be an integral part of the tight‑knit and high‑performing Engaged Ownership investment team dedicated to long‑term, engaged, and sustainability‑focused public equity investing. You will contribute directly to the execution of our long‑term investment strategy and support portfolio managers across one or more industry verticals.

YOUR ROLE

• Supporting idea generation, fundamental research, sustainability integration, and long‑term company engagement
• Monitoring portfolio companies, including analysis of industry developments and market‑relevant information
• Identifying key risks and opportunities across assigned companies and sectors
• Building and updating detailed financial and operating models
• Preparing investment papers and contributing to portfolio discussions
• Participating early in interactions with senior executives (C‑suite and board members) of portfolio or target companies
• Contributing to ongoing improvement in sustainability analysis and active ownership practices

YOUR PROFILE

• Passionate about finance and long‑term ownership investing
• A team player who thrives in collaborative environments
• Detail‑oriented, able to conduct independent financial and sustainability analysis
• Open‑minded and entrepreneurial, bringing curiosity, creativity, and adaptability
• A strong communicator, both written and verbal, with structured and logical thinking
• A strong academic background
• Approximately 4-6 years’ experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting or industry roles with solid financial analysis/valuation exposure
• Fluency in English
