Job Title: Backend Developer

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden (Hybrid role)

Employment Type: 6-9 months contract with further extensions

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join a dynamic engineering team building modern, scalable applications. This role involves developing robust backend services, designing APIs, and working with both relational and NoSQL databases in a collaborative, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core preferred)
• Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs
• Work with MongoDB and SQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
• Collaborate with frontend developers working with TypeScript-based applications
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and code quality
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing backend systems
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile setup

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong hands-on expertise in C# / .NET
• Experience with TypeScript (full-stack exposure is a plus)
• Solid experience with:
• MongoDB (NoSQL databases)
• SQL (relational databases)
• Strong understanding of REST API development and integration
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
