I&C Design Engineer

Qualifications

• B.Sc degree in Electronics Engineering or Automation & Controls Engineering,
• Min 5 years of work experience in control systems and/or instrumentation,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs,
• Strong communication skills, team worker,
• Analytical thinking, result-oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, positive and energetic,
• Ability to work with other engineering discipline teams,
• No restriction to travel/stay abroad,
• No military obligation for male candidates.

Job Description

• Carrying out I&C design works as per the contract requirements and procedures.
• Preparing design deliverables including the design basis, logic diagrams, DCS HMI graphics, I/O list, control narratives, C&E Matrix, control panel layouts, loop diagrams, instrument data sheets, cable & drum schedules, and P&IDs.
• Specifying the equipment, and instruments and preparing the material requisitions and technical specifications.
• Exchanging the information with the other engineering disciplines and co-coordinating the works together.
• Reviewing and approving the Vendor produced documents.
• Evaluating whether catalog data and technical drawings of instruments, equipment, and control cables are in line with project requirements as well as process needs.
• Preparing design deliverables of control systems; DCS, PLC, F&GDS.
• Performing FATs as required.
• Database management of Aveva Instrumentation.
• Construction and pre-commissioning supervision / site-support activities in case needed.
