📍 Location: Dubai, UAE

📄 Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)

We are looking for a Reporting Analyst with strong SQL expertise to design, develop, and maintain operational and management reports using data from a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

The role focuses on building high-quality Power BI dashboards, optimized SQL queries, and data-driven insights to support logistics and warehouse operations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Write complex and optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Build operational KPI dashboards (inbound, outbound, inventory, billing, productivity, etc.).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization across reports.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and analytics requests.
• Document report logic, data models, and SQL queries.
• Collaborate with integration teams to validate data sources and resolve data issues.

🔹 Core Technical Skills

• Strong SQL expertise (complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning).
• Power BI development including dashboards, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
• Knowledge of star schema / snowflake schema modeling.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and present insights using visual dashboards and KPIs.
• Experience designing mobile-compatible dashboards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Python (Required)

• Intermediate proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and advanced analytics.
• Experience with Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib / Seaborn for data manipulation and visualization.
• Ability to write automation scripts for recurring reporting tasks.
• Experience connecting Python with databases (Vertica, SQL Server) and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of using Python within Power BI (Python visuals / data transformation).
• Ability to create reusable scripts for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and validation.
• Exposure to Jupyter Notebook or similar development environments.
• Basic understanding of statistical modeling and forecasting using Python libraries.
