Software Engineer (C++)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate software solutions for advanced UX products. This role focuses on persistent memory systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software solutions for persistent memory management
• Define and implement software architecture and concepts for:
• Data storage formats
• Wear leveling and bad block management
• Data consistency, security, and rollback strategies
• Develop and maintain low-level drivers for eMMC/NAND flash memory
• Optimize memory performance and bandwidth benchmarking strategies
• Collaborate with system architects to analyze requirements and define solutions
• Support root cause analysis for field issues and memory-related failures
• Work closely with hardware, testing, and software teams to validate system reliability
• Contribute to design documentation, code reviews, and quality processes
• Partner with hardware teams on memory portfolio and system integration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong experience in embedded systems architecture and memory technologies
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded development
• Hands-on experience with:
• eMMC / NAND flash memory
• File systems and low-level drivers
• Good understanding of:
• Microcontrollers, SoCs, boot processes, memory controllers
• Experience with embedded development tools (emulators, analyzers, oscilloscopes)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
