[What the role is]

To support the M3@Town in fulfilling its objectives of outreaching to the Malay residents to deliver the last mile service; cross promote programmes and bring together Malay Muslim professionals. The incumbent is to partner MUIS and Mendaki as well as the other relevant agencies to implement the M3 Flagship Projects to meet the needs of the local Malay community.

[What you will be working on]

• Represent PA and particularly the MAECs in the inter-agency M3 Flagship Projects local meetings chaired by the Advisers as well as other staff level working group meetings related to the M3 Flagship Projects.
• Study the local profile and understand the needs of the local Malay residents using available data from People’s Association, Mendaki and MUIS
• Work with the staff in-charge of local MAECs to implement flagship programmes conceptualised under the M3 framework to widen and deepen outreach to the Malay residents within the M3@Town as well as to integrate them to the larger society
• Establish strong working relationships and collaborate with ground stakeholders including local MMOs such as mosques
• Partner and support the Adviser as well as work with the local M3@Town support staff from the GCD’s office, Mendaki and MUIS to effectively reach out to Malay residents
• Work with M3 agencies as well as relevant community stakeholders to implement flagship programmes which meet the needs of local residents

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the IEE Section on progress of the implementation of M3 flagship programmes
• Work with GCD’s Office and M3@Town secretariat to identify, recruit and induct Malay professionals into the local M3@Town
