We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with a strong foundation in mobile engineering and platform infrastructure. This role focuses on building high-quality Android applications while driving improvements in observability, analytics, and CI/CD practices.

You will play a key role in ensuring performance, reliability, and consistency across mobile platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and data-driven mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin
  • Contribute to mobile platform and infrastructure initiatives, improving scalability and reliability
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for mobile application delivery
  • Implement and manage application monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
  • Integrate and leverage tools such as Datadog, Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics), and centralized logging platforms
  • Ensure consistency and parity of analytics and tracking across platforms (Android and iOS)
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality features
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack
  • Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
  • Continuously improve app performance, reliability, and user experience

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong focus on Android development
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android development practices
  • Hands-on experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
  • Experience integrating and working with:
  • Datadog
  • Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, etc.)
  • Centralized logging systems (e.g., Splunk)
  • Strong understanding of mobile observability, logging, and analytics frameworks
  • Experience ensuring cross-platform analytics parity between Android and iOS
  • Solid debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and system architecture
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of iOS development and cross-platform considerations
  • Experience collaborating across mobile platforms to standardize tracking and analytics
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience optimizing application performance and reliability at scale
