What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Lead and facilitate scrum meetings while eliminating blockers (PI Planning, Retrospectives, Daily Stand-ups, Demos, etc.)
  • Build relationships to encourage collaboration, transparency, and innovation across a cross-functional Agile software development team
  • Promote Agile quality practices and serve as a resource for process standardization improvements
  • Advise government personnel on enhancing processes within the project
  • Collaborate directly with senior-level client leadership teams during client-delivery engagements

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related scientific/technical discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading an Agile development team
  • Proven experience with large-scale software development, data management, and software integration projects
  • Expertise in the SAFe Agile framework
  • SAFe Certified Scrum Master with a detail-oriented approach to technical documentation

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with the Department of Veteran Affairs, tools, processes, and frameworks
  • Familiarity with Project and Configuration Management tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub)
  • Technical background in relevant disciplines
  • Experience with InterSystems technology
  • Background in healthcare-related projects
