Job title: Systems Administration Specialist

Summary

System Administrator functions are important in supporting the team to ensure that the project activities

are completed as per planned schedule as well as maintaining the existing Windows and Intel-Servers

infrastructure in a stable and secure manner.

The Administrator should have hands-on experience of Private Cloud and Public Cloud technologies.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Installing and Configuring Windows Servers (Physical and Virtual).
  • Monitoring System Performance and Troubleshooting Server Issues.
  • Upgrade Server hardware with new releases and models.
  • Install and upgrade Server components and software, manage virtual and physical servers, and integrate automation processes.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
  • Build an internal repository of Technical Documentation and configuration guides.
  • Proven Experience as a System Administrator for last 5 years.
  • Experience with HPE Enterprise Infrastructure technologies like ILO, HPE OneView etc.).
  • Experience working inside Data Center and basic knowledge about Data Center facilities.
  • Experience with VMWARE virtualization technology.
  • Experience with Windows Server Operating System.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with network automation platforms like Ansible or VMware Aria and scripting languages like PowerShell and Python.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Having a bachelor’s degree is Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Professional Certifications like MCSE, VMWARE, Azure, GCP etc. is a plus.
  • Linux infrastructure Support and Maintenance is a plus.
  • Create/Update Documentation (Installation Guides, Configuration Documents, . etc.)
  • Communicate with IT Vendors to report faulty hardware and arrange to replace the faulty devices
  • Project Management and ITIL Knowledge is a plus.
  • Working Knowledge on Ticketing System like BMC is a plus

Must Have

  • 5 years’ Experience in System Administration and Technical Support.
  • Hand on Experience in Windows Servers installation, clustering and configuration, VMware Virtualization.
  • Well spoken and written English Language skills.
  • Wide experience and knowledgeable in Server Technology (HPE and VMware in particular) and Managing
  • Data Centers environments, and hands-on experience in Public Cloud management.
