🔍 About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer (Android) to support ongoing and future product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong native Android expertise, hands-on experience with modern UI development using Jetpack Compose, and awareness of emerging technologies such as Generative AI.

This role is part of a Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) project with shared UI using Compose Multiplatform. While the primary focus will be Android development, the candidate should also be able to contribute to a minimum working iOS solution for future scalability.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin
• Build production-quality UIs using Jetpack Compose / Compose Multiplatform
• Follow Android architecture best practices, clean code principles, and performance optimization techniques
• Contribute to shared code in a Kotlin Multiplatform environment
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, Architects, and QA teams
• Debug, optimize, and enhance application and native component performance
• Proactively share knowledge, mentor team members, and contribute to design discussions

🛠️ Technical Requirements

📱 Native Android Development

• 7–11 years of Android/Kotlin experience (Senior level)
• Minimum 4+ years for strong mid-level candidates
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kotlin and Android SDK
• Strong understanding of Android app lifecycle, architecture, and performance tuning

🎨 Modern UI – Jetpack Compose

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
• Deep understanding of declarative UI principles
• Experience with State management, Navigation, Material3, and Compose ecosystem

➕ Good to Have / Added Advantage

• Working knowledge of C/C++
• Experience integrating native code via JNI/JNA
• Ability to debug and optimize low-level/native components

🤖 Generative AI Awareness

• Basic working knowledge of Generative AI tools (AI code assistants, LLM-based tools, embeddings)
• Understanding of how AI can improve developer productivity and workflows
• Exposure to AI-powered development practices is a plus
