AI / ML Engineer (2–3 Years Experience)

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced AI/ML Engineer to work on AI-driven drug discovery and intelligent research automation systems.

You will work on classical ML, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and agentic AI applied to molecular data, bioactivity prediction, and research workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize ML/DL/RL models for molecular property prediction and bioactivity modeling.
• Build scalable pipelines for molecular datasets (SMILES, SDF, protein-ligand data).
• Develop agentic AI systems for research automation (RAG, multi-agent workflows).
• Implement GNNs, transformers, or sequence models for chemistry/biological data.
• Deploy models using FastAPI/Docker and manage experiments with MLflow or W&B.

Required Skills

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in ML/AI engineering.
• Strong foundation in classical ML, deep learning, and RL fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn.
• Experience building end-to-end ML pipelines.
• Comfortable in Linux environments.

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with RDKit, SMILES, QSAR, ADMET, or molecular modeling.
• Knowledge of GNNs for molecular graphs.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or similar agent frameworks.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
