The Role

We're looking for a Mid-Weight Front End Developer who builds beautiful, high-performance digital products and takes genuine pride in getting every detail right. Not almost right. Right.

You'll work side by side with our in-house design team — not just receiving handoffs, but actively contributing ideas on how to make products better, smarter, and more intuitive. From the first brief to the final pixel, you'll be part of the conversation from the start.

This is a role for someone who loves the craft, thrives in a collaborative team environment, and gets as much satisfaction from sharing knowledge as they do from shipping great work. You'll also be client-facing — sitting in on briefs, feedback sessions, and testing reviews — so how you present yourself and communicate matters just as much as what you can build.

What You'll Do

• Translate design files into pixel-perfect, responsive front end builds — every time, no exceptions
• Collaborate actively with the design team to contribute ideas, challenge assumptions, and help shape better digital products
• Build and maintain websites and web applications across platforms including WordPress, Webflow, Contentful, and Umbraco
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code that your teammates can pick up and run with
• Participate in client briefings, testing feedback sessions, and design reviews — contributing clearly and professionally
• Stay current with the latest front end technologies, frameworks, and best practices
• Share knowledge generously — mentoring where appropriate and learning just as openly
• Integrate AI tools into your development workflow to improve speed, quality, and output
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, accessibility, and user experience across client builds
• Collaborate with our technical engineering, design, and strategy teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality digital experiences

About You

• 3–5 years of front end development experience, ideally within an agency or studio environment
• Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript — you write code you're proud of
• Strong working knowledge of modern frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or similar
• Experience building across one or more CMS platforms — WordPress, Webflow, Contentful, or Umbraco
• An exceptional eye for detail — you notice when something is 2px off and it bothers you
• A genuine collaborator — you enjoy the back and forth with designers and contribute ideas, not just execution
• Well presented and a clear, confident communicator — you're comfortable in a room with clients
• Curious and a continuous learner — you follow the space closely and bring new thinking to the team
• Experience using AI tools in your development workflow, or the genuine aptitude and hunger to learn — we'll back you either way

Bonus Points

• Motion design skills — CSS animations, GSAP, Lottie, or similar
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimisation
• Understanding of design tools — Figma, Adobe XD — so you can speak the designer's language fluently
• Exposure to headless CMS architecture or JAMstack builds
• Any experience with video, interactive, or immersive web experiences
