About The Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Australian Retirement Trust, you will play a key role in shaping how our applications are built, deployed and supported across the technology landscape. Working within a crossfunctional Platform Engineering team, you will:

• Support the build, release and operational processes for businesscritical applications across ART
• Design, develop and maintain deployment, integration and configuration frameworks that underpin application delivery
• Collaborate with Technical Leads, Engineers and Architects to continuously improve platform maturity, efficiency and reliability
• Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines, tooling and automation aligned to modern continuous delivery practices
• Partner with Release, Environment and Delivery teams to ensure reliable and timely deployment of application releases
• Monitor and manage application and platform performance, capacity and availability across cloud and onpremise environments
• Contribute to test automation capabilities to improve quality, coverage and deployment confidence
• Participate in operational support activities, including oncall rotations and occasional outofhours support to meet service levels

About You

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

• Proven experience supporting and managing applications across Windows/Linux, cloud (Azure or AWS) and onpremise environments
• Handson experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps or similar
• Strong knowledge of continuous delivery principles and experience implementing automation across the delivery lifecycle
• Experience with continuous improvement in the automation space
• Exposure to PAAS, containerisation or orchestration technologies such as Azure, AWS, OpenShift or containers
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments using tools such as Jira
• Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams
