Release Manager (Mobile – iOS, Android & Backend)

We are seeking a highly organized Release Manager to lead end-to-end release delivery for native iOS/Android apps and supporting backend services, aligning Product, Engineering, QA, and Ops around reliable outcomes. You will drive predictable releases, reduce risk, and improve release practices—apply to help us ship with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Own the release calendar across iOS, Android, and backend platforms
• Coordinate release scope with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, QA, and Ops
• Align priorities, timelines, and cross-team dependencies to ensure release readiness
• Lead release readiness reviews and drive go/no-go decisions
• Oversee end-to-end release execution across build, testing, and deployment phases
• Coordinate mobile app submissions to the Apple App Store and Google Play
• Manage backend deployments to ensure compatibility with mobile releases
• Enforce consistent versioning, tagging, and branching strategies
• Communicate release status, risks, and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Maintain release documentation, release notes, and post-release summaries
• Identify and mitigate release risks, dependencies, and blockers during release cycles
• Plan and coordinate rollback activities when required
• Improve release management processes, quality gates, and automation using metrics and learnings

Requirements

• Release management experience (1+ years) coordinating mobile and backend releases
• Stakeholder management experience aligning Product, Engineering, QA, and Ops on scope and timelines
• Release planning skills to own calendars, dependencies, and readiness reviews
• Strong CI/CD knowledge for backend release pipelines and automation
• Strong version control knowledge including branching strategies, tagging, and versioning discipline
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail across parallel workstreams
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2+) for clear, timely cross-team communication
