Release Manager (Mobile – iOS, Android & Backend)

We are looking for a highly organized Release Manager to lead end-to-end release delivery for our iOS, Android, and backend services, ensuring reliable, well-communicated launches across teams. You will align Product and Engineering on scope, timelines, and risk while improving release processes—apply to help us ship predictable, high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

• Own the release calendar across iOS, Android, and backend platforms
• Coordinate release scope with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, QA, and Ops
• Align priorities, timelines, and cross-team dependencies to keep releases on track
• Oversee end-to-end release execution across build, testing, and deployment phases
• Coordinate mobile submissions to the Apple App Store and Google Play
• Manage backend deployments and ensure compatibility with mobile versions
• Enforce consistent versioning, tagging, and branching strategies in GitHub
• Provide clear updates on release status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
• Maintain release documentation, release notes, and post-release summaries
• Identify and mitigate release risks and resolve blockers during release windows
• Lead rollback planning and execute rollbacks when required
• Improve release processes, quality gates, and automation across pipelines

Requirements

• Release management experience (2+ years) coordinating mobile and backend releases
• Cross-functional leadership skills to drive alignment and go/no-go decisions
• Release planning expertise to own calendars, scope, dependencies, and milestones
• Strong CI/CD knowledge for backend pipelines and automated release workflows
• Mobile release lifecycle knowledge covering iOS, Android, and store constraints
• Strong communication skills to translate technical status into stakeholder-friendly updates
• English proficiency level B2 (Upper-Intermediate)
