Within this challenging role, you will bridge the gap between business and IT, translate user needs into clear solutions, and work closely with testers and the development team to deliver high-quality digital products.

Your role

• Analyse business requirements and operational processes, and translate them into clear functional analyses, user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Gather requirements and translate complex user needs into functional and actionable specifications and user stories.
• Facilitate workshops such as event storming sessions and refinement meetings, and create process visualisations or mock-ups in tools such as Figma where useful.
• Participate actively in key Agile ceremonies such as planning, daily stand-up, review/demo and retrospective, and contribute to the successful implementation of new functionalities.
• Create and maintain high-quality functional documentation, such as process flows, business rules, logical data models, functional analyses, and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with developers and testers to clarify requirements, support solution validation and help ensure functional completeness and consistency.
• Guide the application support team in understanding new functionalities so they can prepare end-user documentation and provide effective first-line functional support after release.

Your profile

• You hold a higher degree (minimum Bachelor) and have at least 5 years of experience as an IT Functional Analyst.
• You have solid experience with Agile/Scrum and tools such as UML, Figma, Figjam, and process modeling tools
• You combine strong analytical skills with clear communication, stakeholder sensitivity and a hands-on, quality-focused mindset.
• You are comfortable working in a dynamic IT environment where priorities can evolve and close collaboration with technical and business teams is essential.
• You are able to understand system behaviour, data structures and interfaces, and translate them into functional solutions.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.

Working Hours & Additional Leave

• Full-time contract of 38 hours per week
• 5 extra days off in addition to statutory vacation days
• Hybrid working: max. 3 days per week after 6 months of service
• Work hours with flexible start (7:30–9:30 AM) and finish (4:00–6:00 PM)
