Scrum Master

About the Role

As a Scrum Master, you play a key role in enabling teams to work efficiently and deliver value through Agile ways of working. You bring structure, facilitation and continuous improvement, helping teams and stakeholders collaborate effectively. Depending on the assignment, you may support one or multiple teams in delivery, transformation or product-oriented contexts, adapting Agile practices to real business needs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily, Review, Retrospective).

• Support teams in applying Agile principles and Scrum practices pragmatically.
• Coach teams towards self-organisation, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support Product Owners with backlog management, refinement and prioritisation.
• Help identify and remove impediments impacting team delivery.
• Facilitate workshops, refinement sessions and stakeholder meetings.
• Foster clear communication and alignment between business, IT and stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving collaboration in multi-team or cross-functional environments.

Qualifications

• You have a Master’s Degree.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Practitioner.

Required Skills

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
• Ability to facilitate teams and adapt Agile practices to operational constraints.
• Experience working with Agile delivery tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence or equivalent.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to coach teams and challenge stakeholders constructively.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proactive, organised and comfortable working autonomously.
• Fluency in Dutch and proficient in French is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in consultancy or client-facing environments.
• Exposure to multi-team, transformation or complex delivery contexts.
• Scrum or Agile certifications (PSM, CSM or equivalent) are a plus.
