Full Stack Software Engineer

Stiltsoft is a profitable, product-led company building apps for Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket since 2010. Our apps are used by over 15,000 organizations worldwide, including Fortune 500 companies, like Apple, Toyota, Revolut, and Warner Bros.

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop our flagship product Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence (TF).

With 15,000+ installations and over 3 million active users, TF is one of the most adopted and trusted apps on the Atlassian Marketplace.

The app turns Confluence into a powerful reporting hub: teams use it to analyse data, create 15+ chart types, run SQL queries, and work with Excel-like spreadsheets.

App is available in Data Center and Cloud versions.

As Atlassian accelerates its transition to Cloud, we're now investing heavily in the next generation of Atlassian Forge, bringing the product to a modern, scalable architecture.

The team behind the app is compact (15 team members) and experienced - no bureaucracy, no micromanagement, just good engineering.

What You'll Do

• Full-stack development: design architecture, write code, add tests to your code, and participate in code reviews
• Build new features on Atlassian Forge using Node.js, TypeScript, and React
• Occasionally, contribute to the Data Center version of the product built with Java
• Write and maintain automated tests (Selenium, Mocha, JUnit)
• Care about outcomes, not just output - think about performance, reliability, bottlenecks, optimization opportunities and long-term impact on the product, not just "closing tasks"
• Help our technical support team resolve complex technical issues

Who you are

• 5+ years of Full Stack development experience - you're confident on both frontend and backend
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript
• Solid experience with React and Node.js
• Comfortable navigating an existing Java codebase (DC maintenance, not greenfield)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools (we use Claude Code actively - we're looking for someone who sees this as a productivity asset, not a threat)
• Collaborative mindset: share ideas, give constructive feedback, take ownership
• English B1+ and professional Russian (we communicate in Russian inside the team)

Nice to have:

• Experience with the Atlassian ecosystem (Forge, Connect, Confluence/Jira apps)
• Knowledge of security practices (OWASP, dependency scanning, secure coding)
• Java experience
• Interest in contributing to open-source projects
