WE ARE LOOKING FOR SENIOR JAVA BACKEND ENGINEER (KAFKA, SPRING BOOT)

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer to join a product development team that owns and continuously improves the systems it runs in production. The platform processes real-time streaming data from operational environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong professional experience in Java development
  • Experience building backend services with Spring Boot
  • Experience working with Kafka or another event-streaming platform for processing real-time data
  • Experience with high-volume or time-series data systems (for example TimescaleDB)
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
  • Experience building REST APIs and working with system integrations
  • Experience with cloud platforms or modern deployment environments is a plus
  • Ability to understand system architecture and make sound technical decisions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

What You Will Do

  • Develop and improve backend services that process streaming data in real time.
  • Work with other engineers and product stakeholders to evolve the platform over time
  • Build and maintain APIs and integrations between services
  • Work with event-driven services and data pipelines built around Kafka
