About The Role

We are seeking a curious, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Aico by Pacera Team. The role has a big impact on releases to customer environments as well as future development of the product.

You'll share responsibility with fellow testers for both automation and manual testing, as well as evolving the test framework. By involving QA early in the development cycle, you will collaborate daily with developers, product owners and cloud operations.

What You Will Do

Automated testing:

• Create e2e tests with Playwright & Typescript
• Maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot Playwright test suites
• Help develop the test framework that is in use in Aico together with the QA and R&D teams
• Convert manual cases to automated when needed
  
  

Manual testing:

• Validate bug fixes before they are released to production
• Analyse bugs to determine the impact on product areas
• Design manual test cases to cover high impact areas
• Execute manual tests for customer releases and for larger product releases
  
  

Process:

• Help shape product specific quality plans and refine the process when needed
• Document defects, track their resolution
• Maintain test documentation
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Fluency in English (Our working language)
• 3+ years of experience in software testing. Solid foundation in software testing principles such as test case design, risk-based testing, regression testing and defect lifecycle management
• Experience working for a small team that talks daily with developers. You are comfortable exploring a complex product and voice your questions when it comes to decisions that impact end users
• Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks. Especially Playwright gives you an edge. You are comfortable experimenting with AI tools to help develop tests and aid in your daily work
  
  

Skills That We Consider a Plus

• Experience with Typescript
• Security testing and compliance experience (ISAE/SOC)
• Azure DevOps, jira, confluence experience
• Experience with performance test tools, for example JMeter.
• Usage of LLM’s when creating automation tests
• Exposure to financial-domain concepts: Account reconciliation, closing tasks, journals etc.
