Animaj leads the global media industry by creating and delivering premium 3D animation to families worldwide. Traditional animation, rooted in outdated processes since the early ‘90s, lags behind the fast-paced demands of today’s digital economy.

Our innovation addresses the time-intensive nature of traditional animation, where each second can take hours or a week to produce.The Role

As a Data Scientist / Applied AI Developer, you'll be at the heart of our data and AI strategy for content creation and distribution. Your mission: build intelligent solutions to better understand our audiences, inform creative and editorial decisions, and maximize the impact of our content across distribution platforms.

What you'll do:

• Audience Intelligence: build tools to understand audiences behaviors and preferences, content trends, to guide creative and editorial choices

• YouTube Optimization: develop AI-powered solutions to improve publications performance (SEO, metadata, thumbnails, titles, descriptions) and maximize the value of our existing catalog

• LLM integration into creative workflows: deploy language models within internal tools to assist creative and editorial teams

• Data Engineering: design, implement and maintain the data ingestion and transformation pipelines these solutions require
  
  

Who You Are

Experience & Background

• 5-8 years of experience in data science, ML engineering, or AI development

• Technical degree (Master's, engineering school, or equivalent) with strong hands-on experience

• Proven track record implementing data/AI solutions and deploying them in production
  
  

Must-have Technical Skills

• Strong Python proficiency and familiarity with the data/ML ecosystem (PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, etc.)

• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, etc.) and their integration

• Experience with web scraping and data extraction

• Solid software engineering practices (testing, documentation, Git)

• Familiarity with Prefect, Databases (we use Clickhouse)
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with YouTube APIs (Analytics, Data API) or other distribution platforms

• Ability to prototype full-stack applications (API design, backend, basic frontend)

• Knowledge of video SEO and platform recommendation mechanics

• Experience with RAG, fine-tuning, agentic architectures

• Interest in children's content, animation, or entertainment
