Software Automation Engineer

Summary

Our Software Localization & Release Engineering team is a passionate group dedicated to improving Apple's software for our international users. We are seeking an experienced Software Automation Engineer to join our team and drive excellence in automation testing for all Apple platforms. As an automation engineer, you will own the development and execution of automated test suites, leverage GenAI technologies to enhance automation testing capabilities, and contribute significantly to the overall quality of our software products.

Description

Proficiency in Swift programming with experience in iOS/macOS application development Hands-on experience with GenAI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for test automation Proven expertise with XCTest framework and comprehensive test strategy design Experience with machine learning model training and fine-tuning is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and develop XCTest-based automated test suites using Swift for all Apple platforms
• Implement LLM-powered test generation and intelligent defect analysis systems
• Execute comprehensive automated testing with detailed performance metrics and analysis
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment and reporting
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• Expertise with Swift programming and automated testing frameworks
• Professional software automation testing experience
• Hands-on experience implementing LLM technologies in testing workflows
