What You'll Do

As our Android Engineer, you'll solve the challenge of building a scalable, high-quality Android experience across multiple products in the Mintos ecosystem. Your focus will be Android app development and technical quality, which means developing new functionality, improving user experience and performance, and contributing to shared components and engineering standards. You'll work with other Android Engineers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable mobile experiences that support Mintos’ product growth.

You will:

• Work in iterations to develop and enhance the functionality and user experience of our Android app across multiple Mintos products
• Contribute to shared components that enable efficient delivery of new features
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews
• Regularly collaborate with other Android Engineers to define the future technical direction of the Android app
• Continuously improve user experience, performance, and code quality
• Contribute to higher-level initiatives such as CI/CD, release processes, and PR review guidelines
  
  

Your professional skills and background

Must-haves

• 2+ years of experience in native Android development for Mid level, or 5+ years for Senior level
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin, Compose, Hilt, and Coroutines
• Ability to build maintainable mobile applications using strong engineering practices and design patterns
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, clean code principles, and code quality standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  
  

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with RxJava and Dagger2
• Background in real-time data integrations, including WebSockets and SSE
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
