We’re looking for a Data Scientist to help us build and improve the credit risk models that power lending decisions across multiple countries and products. This is a hands-on, technical, growth-oriented role for someone ready to deepen their modeling and engineering skills in a real production environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and improve credit scoring models
• Application scorecards (new customers)
• Behavioral models (existing customers)
• Anti-fraud models (supervised and unsupervised)
• Perform feature engineering
• Create meaningful variables from raw transactional and behavioral data
• Work with large, messy, real-world datasets
• Run statistical analysis and validation
• Identify and explain key risk drivers
• Validate model performance and stability
• Support the full model lifecycle
• From data → modeling → deployment → monitoring/validation
• Contribute to reliable, production-ready modeling practices

What we expect from You:

• Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL
• Solid foundation in statistics, hypothesis testing, and model evaluation
• Practical experience with machine learning algorithms (e.g., logistic regression, tree-based models, XGBoost)
• Ability to work independently with complex datasets and turn ambiguity into clear next steps
• Comfortable collaborating with stakeholders and explaining model results clearly

Tools & technologies You will work with:

• Python & SQL (daily)
• ML: XGBoost, logistic regression, tree-based models
• Data infrastructure: Snowflake (main warehouse), Apache Kafka (data pipelines), some exposure to Terraform
• Deployment & collaboration: Docker, Git
• Feature store (planned): Feast (offline in Snowflake + online features for production models)
